A band faces a race against time to reach the UK after their flight was cancelled less than 48 hours before their Glastonbury appearance. British indie band Wolf Alice issued a plea for a private jet after their British Airways flight from Los Angeles to Heathrow on Wednesday night was cancelled. "We need to get to Glastonbury, not joking", the band tweeted. Wolf Alice had been in the US playing a series of concerts, including a gig alongside US singer Halsey at the Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles. They are due to play a 4.45pm set at the festival's main Pyramid Stage on Friday, leaving them little time to make the 10-hour flight and complete the almost three-hour drive to the Somerset festival.
