Train Construction From Orlando Airport to Disney World Paused Indefinitely – Inside the Magic
One very fascinating development that we have been following is the upcoming Brightline train expansion that will give Disney World Guests the ability to travel to and from Disney World and the Orlando International Airport, as well as other areas of Florida.

The expansion has been set to debut in 2026, which was good news for Disney Guests considering Disney’s Magical Express is ending this year, giving Guests fewer options when it comes to transporting themselves to Disney World after they land in Orlando. Now, however, it seems that Brightline’s plans may be more up in the air than they previously anticipated.

The Central Florida Expressway Authority agreed unanimously Tuesday to delay indefinitely a decision over whether to allow Brightline Trains to build passenger rail beside the agency’s State Road 417 on the way from Orlando’s airport to Walt Disney World and Tampa.
