THE BLOCK: TREE CHANGE Series return Sunday, 7pm, Nine Among the many firsts of the 18th season of Nine’s renovation juggernaut, The Block (first “lady tradie”, first Muslims, first regional location, in Victoria’s Macedon Ranges), is Sharon Johal, first former Neighbours actor, and, along with her husband, accountant Ankur Dogra, first Punjabi Indian contestant. “We are proud to be Indian. It’s part of our identity, but it’s not our whole identity,” says Johal. “It’s great that (the show has) finally got diversity.
