The $65m to $70m mansion poised to shatter Victorian price record
A Melbourne eastern suburb’s mansion priced at $65 million to $70 million is the most expensive home ever to come on the market in Victoria.
The colossal estate at 17 St Georges Road in Toorak is a few days away from officially hitting the market and photos have not yet been released.
However, agency Marshall White on Thursday confirmed the property, named Toorak House, will carry a price guide of $65 million to $70 million.
If the 7854-square-metre property achieves that sum, it will obliterate the Victorian residential real estate record.
The Victorian price benchmark is the $52.5 million paid for Stonnington mansion in the neighbouring suburb of Malvern, which changed owners in 2017.
