'Surprise' as neighbour found selling cars from home in Redhill

Residents in a quiet area of Arnold have expressed their ‘surprise’ as a neighbour was found to be selling cars from his house. Gedling Borough Council is taking enforcement action over the unauthorised activity on Angela Close in Redhill. It comes after the council made frequent attempts to stop the man, who admitted to selling “a few cars a month”, storing and selling vehicles at his home. “It’s a shame that people have to do things like this,” said Michelle Proudfoot, who lives on the corner of the street. “I didn’t know anything about it. I’m surprised as there’s not usually any trouble around here.
