Stroud robber jailed after attacking man before burgling his home

A Stroud robber has been jailed after admitting to attacking a man and then burgling his home. John Munson, aged 38 and of no fixed abode appeared at Gloucester Crown Court last Monday (November 15) where he was jailed for four years and three months for robbery, burglary and resisting a constable in the execution of duty. He will also be subject to a five year Restraining Order, prohibiting him from contacting his victim directly or indirectly, and is also banned from going to Westward Road in Stroud.
