Scots health board 'sorry' after patient died when they failed to follow Covid guidance
NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde has apologised for failings following the death of a stroke patient from Covid-19.
The health board was taken to the Public Service Ombudsman by the child of a patient over the care and treatment their late parent received.
Reportedly the parent had been admitted to the hospital after suffering a stroke and developed COVID-19 symptoms which was confirmed through a positive swab.
