SA COVID cases today: South Australia’s new infections have dropped as it heads towards the peak of the Omicron outbreak

South Australia has recorded a significant drop in new COVID-19 cases on Saturday, a day after authorities warned the state is approaching the peak of its Omicron wave. There were 4349 new cases reported on Saturday, down from the 5679 infections reported on Friday.
