Predators offer Filip Forsberg eight-year contract
The Nashville Predators have made a pitch to forward Filip Forsberg to stick around long-term with the club.
General manager David Poile said Thursday he has offered the pending unrestricted free agent an eight-year contract.
Negotiations are still ongoing and the two sides have just under three weeks to get a deal done. Forsberg just wrapped up the final season of a six-year, $36 million contract and is eligible for free agency on July 13.
