PlayStation, Amazon and online banks all down as major internet outage hits users
Users of PlayStation, Amazon and online banks have all reported services being down in a major widespread internet outage.
Websites and services for huge names such as Airbnb, Lloyds bank, Halifax bank, HSBC, John Lewis and FIFA were experiencing issues, according to DownDetector
The websites of several airlines, banks and technology companies including Amazon's AWS, Delta Air Lines and American Express were also among those facing outages - see a list of services affected below.
Websites have not been loading and and have been displaying domain name system (DNS) service errors.
Users say ITV, Channel 4 and Sky websites are all also experiencing issues.
Thousands of gamers are said to be having problems with the PlayStation Network.

PlayStation users took to social media to vent their frustration, reporting receiving messages such as "PlayStation network is currently busy".
One said: "Gotta love it when the PlayStation servers are down on my day off."
PlayStation have been advising users to try and use their Fix&Connect tool.
