Parents condemn school's 'dangerous' mobile phone policy - North Wales Live

Parents have criticised a school’s strict rules around mobile phones, which they say are putting pupils in danger. Farnley Academy in Leeds has a strict policy banning the usage of mobile phones on school grounds. The school says that this policy is clearly set out on the school’s website, and in the terms of agreement when pupils start at the academy. However, some parents are unhappy with the policy, and it is being challenged on the grounds of safeguarding, with one pupil being removed from the school over the disagreement.
