Met Office hour-by-hour guide on when thunderstorms are going to hit Wales
Temperatures are gradually set to return to normal for the time of year over the weekend.
But an area of low pressure that is moving in from the Atlantic is also set to bring heavy rain and thunderstorms to parts of Wales, with a yellow weather warning in place.
The weather is coming in to the UK from the west, so Wales will be bearing the brunt of the bad weather.

On Thursday, Welsh weather forecaster Derek Brockway said: "A toasty 27°C in Mumbles this afternoon but cooler over the weekend with a risk of thunder. Back to normal next week and changeable!"
Met office weather forecaster Aidan McGivern said: "The low is pushing closer to the UK, and the first thing it does as it reaches the high that has been dominating the weather over the past week, is that it pushes the hottest weather further north-west."
