Mercury Prize Announces 2021 Nominees Mogwai, Arlo Parks, SAULT and more are up for the award Published Jul 22, 2021 Since 1992, the Mercury Prize has celebrated the best of British music, and the short list of nominees for the 2021 award has been revealed. This year's nominees are Arlo Parks, Black Country, New Road, Celeste, Floating Points, Pharoah Sanders and the London Symphony Orchestra, Laura Mvula, Mogwai, SAULT, Wolf Alice, BERWYN MUSIC, Ghetts, Hannah Peel and Nubya Garcia. The winner will be announced on September 9 during a gala event at Eventim Apollo, Hammersmith, decided by a panel of judges that includes Anna Calvi, Annie Mac, Jamie Cullum, Michael Kiwanuka and more.
