Man City get Jack Grealish boost as Aston Villa 'line up two signings' and more transfer rumours
Aston Villa are reportedly looking to add two new attackers to their squad in the coming weeks, which could open the door for Jack Grealish to leave the club.
It's been an agonisingly slow start to the summer for Manchester City in a crucial transfer window in which they are looking to replace Sergio Aguero and bounce back from their Champions League final heartbreak.
As well as a striker, Pep Guardiola is also hopeful of adding Grealish, a player he has long been a big fan of, to his squad.
The Manchester Evening News reported in June that City are ready to spend £100million for the Villa captain, with movement on the deal expected following the conclusion of Euro 2020.
Yet nearly two weeks on from England's final defeat there have yet to be any fresh developments.
That looks like it could soon change, however, as Villa are rumoured to be looking at enhancing their attacking options.
