Major snowstorm threatens Ontario with 30+cm, travel implications

Saturday, January 15th 2022, 9:26 am - A winter storm will drop significant snowfall across parts of Ontario on Monday. A sharp cutoff on the western side of the storm makes for a tricky forecast for the Greater Toronto Area (GTA), while 30+ cm of snow is possible for Niagara region and southeastern Ontario. A powerful winter storm continues to impact millions south of the border this weekend with snow, ice and rain. It will continue tracking northeast Saturday and Sunday, as millions across Central and Eastern Canada brace for significant snow and travel impacts into early next week.
