London court cases having to be postponed as there aren't any drivers to take suspects to trials

A West London court had to postpone a number of cases due to a 'shortage of drivers' for custody vans. At Isleworth Crown Court today (Thursday, November 25), a long list of adjournments had been pinned to the court schedule board, with many of the relisted dates going into late December and early 2022. One family were told that their son's court case had been rescheduled from 10am until 2pm due to the lack of staff being able to drive defendants to trial. Other cases were cancelled altogether and had been rescheduled for a later date.
