Locals are worried about a new parking charge system at Hayle car park

New cashless parking charges have been enforced at Harveys Towans car park in Hayle as development of the area continues. Visitors to the beach will now need to use their mobile phones to pay for their parking. A new sign has recently appeared in the car park stating that visitors can pay for their stay using the Pay By Phone app, via their website or by calling the number on the signage. According to the app, parking will now cost £1.20 for an hour's stay and up to £8.20 for seven or more hours up until midnight.
