Lions' Aidan Hutchinson thrilled to put draft chatter behind him: 'All that talk, I hate the talk'
ALLEN PARK -- It didn’t take long for Aidan Hutchinson to cement himself as a personality fit for this Detroit Lions team and what they want to bring here.
Hutchinson, the second overall pick in April’s draft, spoke with reporters after Saturday’s rookie minicamp session. He was asked how it felt to step on the football field again and immediately celebrated the end of all the draft chatter, speculation and “rah-rah” stuff.
“Yeah, it’s great. This is what I do at the end of the day. All that talk, I hate the talk,” Hutchinson said. “It’s been a lot of months of talking, lot of rah-rah, but now we’re out here getting the work in, which is what I do.
