Jurgen Klopp paid tribute to Luis Diaz after his man of the match performance in Liverpool’s FA Cup final win over Chelsea on Saturday.
After impressed against the same opposition at Wembley in the League Cup final back in February, just a few weeks after joining the Reds, the Colombian was at it again as he helped his new side clinch a domestic double.
The winger could have been the match-winner for Liverpool, being denied by the woodwork and Edouard Mendy as he recorded six shots on goal - more than any other player. And while Klopp admitted Diaz should have scored against Chelsea, the fact he didn’t took nothing away from a special individual performance.
