Picked-up pieces while wondering who John Henry roots for if it’s Bruins-Penguins in the next round . . . ▪ These are the good old days. As New England’s 21st century Sports High Renaissance continues, we get two Game 7s in less than 24 hours in the second week of May. Wow. The Bruins and Celtics have shared space in Boston since 1946 and never played Game 7s on back-to-back days. Dallas, believe it or not, has two Game 7s Sunday (both on the road), the Mavericks facing the Suns in Phoenix, and the Stars battling the Flames in Calgary. The Bruins went into Saturday afternoon’s 4:30 joust in Raleigh, N.C., having played 28 previous Game 7s, with a record of 15-13 (only 1-4 away from Causeway Street). Boston’s only …
