Hundreds of new homes and shops planned to replace Eagle Market

Derby's major shopping centre has unveiled an ambitious masterplan for future development which would transform a huge part of the city centre. It includes up to 1,250 new homes and shops alongside new public spaces and pedestrian areas. The proposals from Derbion cover the newly named Eagle Quarter - made up of the current Eagle Market and Derby Theatre - and Bradshaw Way Retail Park.
