Health Unit says vaccinations will protect the region's youth

The Heath Unit believes by getting vaccinated residents can help to protect children who are not yet able to be immunized. The message is part of a push by the North Bay Parry Sound District Health Unit to get more people in the district vaccinated. The North Bay Parry Sound District Health Unit (Health Unit) is experiencing an increase in cases in the Nipissing District, with a confirmed case of the Delta variant. As of today, 75.9 per cent of the population over 12 years of age have at least one COVID-19 vaccination, while 62.30 per cent have been double vaccinated.
