A girl of 14 who suffered serious injuries in a stabbing at a school in south Manchester was attacked with a broken bottle, the M.E.N. understands. The attack at Parrs Wood High School in Didsbury on Tuesday lunchtime left the girl in hospital with serious injuries. Today (Wednesday) the M.E.N. has learned the stabbing was inflicted by a broken glass bottle. The school, rated 'good' by Ofsted inspectors, has made no public comment since the incident.
