Game of Thrones spin-off House of the Dragon resumes filming
Game of Thrones spin-off series House of the Dragon resumed production yesterday (July 21) following an enforced two-day shutdown.
Due to a positive COVID-19 test on set this Monday (July 19), shooting was suspended on HBO's upcoming epic, which chronicles the downfall of dragon-masters House Targaryen.
Confirmation of cameras rolling again came from Entertainment Weekly.

Meanwhile, it was recently announced that the show had brought onboard Emily Carey as a young Alicent Hightower and Milly Alcock as young Princess Rhaenyra Targaryen.
"She was raised in the Red Keep, close to the king and his innermost circle; she possesses both a courtly grace and a keen political acumen," teases a description of Alicent.
Rhaenyra is the king's first-born – of pure Valyrian blood, who, according to her character description, "many would say was born with everything... but she was not born a man".
