Evacuation order believed to be imminent for Spences Bridge; residents preparing to leave - Kamloops News

UPDATE: 12:16 p.m. Residents living in Spences Bridge have been told to flee the community due to a nearby wildfire. The deadly Lytton Creek fire has been moving to the north and east for a number of days, and the Thompson-Nicola Regional District on Thursday afternoon ordered Spences Bridge and the surrounding area evacuated. ORIGINAL STORY: 11:39 a.m. Evacuations are expected to be ordered Thursday in Spences Bridge as the deadly Lytton Creek wildfire continues to march north. Thompson-Nicola Regional District officials are expected to order the evacuation of the community in the coming hours.
