Report – Daniel Bryan’s WWE Contract Expires
As seen during last Friday night’s episode of WWE SmackDown, Daniel Bryan lost a match to Roman Reigns and is no longer on the SmackDown roster due to it.
According to a report from Fightful, Bryan’s WWE contract has either expired or was set to expire last week following the match on SmackDown. Several “high level sources” are saying that they had heard about the contract expiring but Bryan wasn’t openly talking about his status to those backstage. There also weren’t a lot of farewells that were out in the open at the TV tapings.
With that being said, this doesn’t mean that Bryan is necessarily done with WWE. It’s possible that he could have re-signed since then or could continue to work for WWE without a contract for the time being. Bryan is said to be a very private person as it pertains to his personal life and often doesn’t talk about his contract status, future, etc. to his peers.
