Lincolnshire County Council is launching a new scheme that will allow staff to buy an electric car through their monthly salary.
According to the Local Democracy Reporting Service, staff are set to be consulted around a salary sacrifice scheme in order to supply them with low emission or electric vehicles.
If approved staff will be able to pay for an environmentally friendly car through their regular salary, with the payments being deducted from their pay each month.
