Car stuck in sand on Cleethorpes beach swallowed by tide
A white Volvo SUV has been swallowed at sea after it became stuck on Cleethorpes beach on Saturday May, 14.
The vehicle had been used to pull a jet ski onto the beach but became stuck just as a fast moving tide approached the beach. Two men who had been in the car were rescued after Scott Snowden, the resort manager at Cleethorpes, spotted them getting into trouble on the shoreline.
According to Mr Snowden, he was on patrol with colleagues and had been asking visitors to move from the shoreline as a rapid tide was approaching even guiding a father and son away from danger when he spotted the stranded car, reports GrimsbyLive.
