British Grand Prix: F1 teams could face penalties if they visit race stewards without an invitation

Formula 1 teams have been warned they could face penalties if they visit race stewards without an invitation. The move comes after Mercedes and Red Bull bosses went to see the stewards following Sunday's crash between Lewis Hamilton and Max Verstappen. Race director Michael Masi has written to all teams warning them that visiting the stewards was only permitted with prior approval or an official summons. He warned that transgressions could be considered a breach of F1's rules.
