Second ODI is SUSPENDED as Covid chaos strikes minutes from first ball
The second ODI between Australia and the West Indies was suspended at the last minute on Friday morning due to a positive COVID-19 case.
News of a positive test came just minutes away from the first ball after the toss was completed and teams were named.
A Cricket West Indies statement says the positive case belongs to a non-playing member of the West Indies team.

All players and staff in the tour’s bio-bubble will now be tested again and have gone into isolation at their team hotels.
A decision on whether the ODI tour can go ahead will be made once all test results are confirmed.
Riley Meredith had been named to make his ODI debut, while Alex Carey won the toss and elected to bat first.
News of an “operational issue” then delayed the start of the match at 4.30am (AEST), before the positive test was revealed shortly …
