Braves still mulling rotation options for NLCS
The Atlanta Braves held a workout Thursday at Truist Park in preparation for the NLCS which will get underway Saturday. The Braves haven’t yet announced their pitching plans for the series beyond Max Fried in Game 1. Charlie Morton would be on four days rest and is an option for Game 2 but the team is considering giving him an extra day after going on short rest in Game 4 of the NLDS, per MLB.com’s Mark Bowman.
The Braves have the option to go with Max Fried in Game 1 and Charlie Morton in Game 2. But because Morton started on short rest on Tuesday, Snitker said they are discussing whether it would be better to push him back to Game 3,which is scheduled for this upcoming Tuesday. — Mark …
