Boy, 17, charged with murder of QLD woman Rene Latimore after body found on property

A 17-year-old boy has been accused of murdering a Queensland woman whose body was found on a sprawling cattle property. The boy, who cannot be named due to his age, was arrested and charged on Friday over the death of Rene Latimore, who was aged 31. Police would not provide details on the relationship between the teenager and Latimore, if there was any. They have also refused to say what happened to the slain woman. Latimore, who lived in Koumala near Mackay, went missing on August 9. Her body was found 20 days later on a property which had been recently purchased by Queensland rugby great Martin Bella, who’s also a local councillor in Mackay.
