Bears interview former Dolphins head coach Brian Flores, Saints assistant GM Jeff Ireland

The Bears on Friday interviewed Jeff Ireland for their general manager position and Brian Flores for their head-coaching job. Prior to joining the Saints, Ireland spent six seasons as Dolphins general manager from 2008-13. Inheriting a team that went 1-15 in 2007, Ireland helped Miami rebound to win the AFC East title with an 11-5 mark in 2008. Before being hired by the Dolphins, Ireland worked for the Cowboys as a national scout (2001-04) and vice president of college and pro scouting (2005-07). In his final season, Dallas won the NFC East with a 13-3 record. Ireland began his NFL career as an area scout with the Chiefs (1997-2000).
