AFP search for toddler Hoang Vinh Le last seen in Canberra

Federal police are urgently searching for a toddler who is believed to be in the care of a woman his parents “met at a coffee shop”. In a joint statement, the Australian Federal Police (AFP) and the Federal Circuit and Family Court of Australia appealed for information to help locate 17-month-old, Hoang Vinh Le. Vinh was removed from the care of his maternal grandmother in Canberra on April 9 by his parents Hoang Thanh Le and Lyn Kim Do. While his parents were located and arrested by police on May 20, Vinh has not been found. The couple has told authorities they gave the child to a person they had met at a coffee shop on about May 19 and had paid her $200 to care for the child. She …
